Dave Aftandilian Innovative Swedish project that combines medieval dungeon synth with ancient folk instruments. The feel is open and spacious, evoking sun-dappled hillsides and fog-shrouded forests. And the moods are nicely varied, from melancholy evocations of blackened woodlands and slain sovereigns to jaunty celebrations of new beginnings. Transports the listener to a simpler time and greener place.
